Free one-finger climbing game

Box Climb

One cube. An endless climb.

A calm, physics-based climbing game. Pull back anywhere like a slingshot, aim along the dotted arc and let go. Land clean and you climb; misjudge a snowy ramp and you slide back down the stairs you just earned.

Controls

How to play Box Climb

The whole game is one gesture. What you learn is the feel of the throw.

  1. Pull back

When the cube has come to rest, press anywhere on the screen and drag backwards, away from where you want to go. You don't have to touch the cube.

  2. Aim

A dotted arc shows where the cube will fly. Drag further for more power and change the angle to reach the next step, a high ledge or the far side of a gap.

  3. Let go

Release to launch and land on the steps ahead to climb higher. Snow is slippery, wind pushes, and a bad landing can send you sliding back down.

One finger on phones and tablets, the mouse on a computer. Esc pauses. Keys 1 and 2, or LB and RB on a controller, use your skills.

What is the Daily Climb?

A daily challenge. Every day at midnight Istanbul time (21:00 UTC), everyone gets the same 327-meter course. Your first launch of the day starts your one official attempt, which is ranked on a daily leaderboard: finishers by time, everyone else by distance. Later runs that day are practice.

What games is Box Climb like?

It shares the pull-and-release aiming of slingshot games like Angry Birds, the calm mood and changing skies of Alto's Odyssey, and the climb-and-fall tension of Jump King. Box Climb is gentler than Jump King: soft ambient music, minimalist art and one-finger controls.
