What stays on your device

Your progress, records, settings, Sky Journal and purchase status are saved on your device and are not sent to us. Deleting the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, removes them.

Daily Climb

When you play the Daily Climb, the game creates a random key on your device and the server gives you a generated display name. With that name we store your daily results: distance, time and a short replay path that other players see as a ghost. The server also records the IP address that created the entry, to limit abuse. No account, email address or real name is involved.

This data is hosted by Supabase. To have your Daily Climb results deleted, write to us with your display name.

Ads in the phone apps

The free Android and iOS versions show ads through AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it works with. To show and measure ads, these companies may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA if you allow tracking), your IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads.

Where the law requires it, for example in the EEA and the UK, the app asks for your consent before ads are personalised, and on iOS the system asks whether the app may track you. You can change these choices later in your device settings. AppLovin's privacy policy: www.applovin.com/privacy.

Box Climb Plus owners see no ads. The browser version has no ads.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details; the store only confirms to the game that Box Climb Plus was bought.

Children

Box Climb is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
